General Program Intended Student Learning Outcomes

1.

Students will acquire the knowledge of the fundamental areas of mathematics, economics, and business.

2.

Students will able to identify, formulate and solve business problems.

3.

Students will be able to analyze the impact of business solutions in a global, economic, environmental, ethical and social context.

4. 

Students will communicate effectively with diverse audiences. 

5.

Students will be able to apply business concepts and functions in an integrated manner.

Accounting Emphasis ISLOs

1.

Students will be able to compose, evaluate and audit a complete set of financial statements consisting of an Income Statement.

2.

Students will be able to develop a Master Budget

3.

Students will be able to apply information technology tools in the preparation of financial statements and income taxation

Management Emphasis ISLOs

1.

Students will be able to apply management principles to solve business problems.

2.

Students will apply organizational behavior principles to the solution of business problems.

3.

Students will apply strategic management principles to the solution of business problems.

  Human Resource Emphasis ISLOs

1.

Students will be able to apply human resource principles to solve human resource problems in business.

2.

Students will apply workforce planning skills to resolve human resource issues in business.

Students will apply their understanding of ethical principles in business to the solution of human resource problems.

 Entrepreneurship Emphasis ISLOs

Students will be able to explain and analyze the steps in an organized, systematic approach to entrepreneurship.

Students will apply entrepreneurial concepts to resolve entrepreneurial issues in case analyses.

Students will apply entrepreneurial concepts to develop entrepreneurial projects

CIS Emphasis ISLOs

Students will design and present database solutions to address business problems.

Students will design and present Web-based solutions to address business problems.

Students will demonstrate an  understanding of professional, ethical, legal, security, and social issues and responsibilities related to technology use in business.
