Biography:
Dr. Patton is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Kentucky and
West Virginia. He is also certified with the National Board of
Certified Counselors. He provides counseling for the Regional
Cancer Center of St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, West
Virginia and for the FBI in the Charleston, West Virginia office.
His specialties include working with trauma, grief, mood &
anxiety disorders. He has worked in the Behavioral Health
Department of St. Mary's Medical Center providing group leadership
and individual counseling for patients with chronic mental
disorders. As an Approved Licensed Professional Supervisor (ALPS)
in West Virginia, Dr. Patton also supervises Counseling Interns
from the School of Professional Counseling who provide counseling
for patients at St. Mary's Medical Center. He has been published
and presented conferences for the FBI, Association of American
Medical Colleges, West Virginia Department of Education and Ohio
Counseling Association. He is a member of the American Counseling
Association, Kentucky Mental Health Counseling Association, and the
Chi Sigma Iota Honor Society.
