Theatre - Program Distinctions
The Theatre program will provide thorough knowledge of the main components of the Theatre Arts and give students an appreciation of the historical and present impact of theatre on human civilization. Written work, objective tests, works-in-progress, rehearsals, performances and presentations will be assessed using the Written Communication, Creative Thinking, and Intercultural Knowledge Value Rubrics as well as the Program Performance, Directing and Playwriting Rubrics. The capstone assessment will be the Senior Seminar in which students will demonstrate expertise in one of the following:
- Performance
- Design
- Dramaturgy
- Directing
- Playwriting
