Biography:
I have been at Lindsey Wilson College since 1994. Before
lindsey, I was an Assistant Professor at Slippery Rock State
Univeristy in PA. and Assistant Professor at Peabody College of
Vanderbilt University, Nashville , TN. I have a small marriage and
family private therapy practice in Nashville, TN. My dog Daisy and
I volunteer weekly at the Parthenon Pavilion Centennial Hopsital
and at Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville, TN. We have been doing
this for five years. Giving back has been one of the most rewarding
endeavors of my career.
I served at TAAMFT President for two years, and have been on
serveral committess for the American Counseling Assoication.
I have been very fortunate to be recognized both for my volunteer
work and for my teaching. Daisy and I received the Frist
Humanitarian Award from HCA Centennial Hospital. I have received
outstanding teaching awards from Lindsey Wilson College, Peabody
Roundtable, and Slippery Rock State University. I also received the
Outstanding Alumni award ( George Hill) from Ohio University.
I have taught Sunday School, been a Lay Director and served on the
board for Ministries with the Methodist Board
I find myself as enthusiastic about teachiing and learning today
as I did when I started many years ago. One of the experiences I
treasure are my 10 years overseas teaching for the Department of
Defense School Systems and for Vanderbilt University.
