Biography:

My entire professional career I have had a great love for teaching and practicing, which is one of the reasons I'm excited to be a part of the SPC family. I feel passionately about training future professionals to service mental health communities in Kentucky.  Clinically I consider myself a generalist that works primarily with adolescents and adults.  I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, including community mental health, private practice, and university counseling.  My research interests include factors predictive of academic success in graduate students, online education, clinical assessment and cross-cultural practice, specifically with gay and lesbian clients.  I am excited to be the Resident Faculty Supervisor for the Shelbyville campus and look forward to working with the students at Lindsey Wilson College.
