Paul Thifault specializes in colonial and antebellum American literature. His recent article on James Fenimore Cooper appeared in the journal ANQ, and he has worked on the editorial staff for academic publications including The Cambridge History of the American Novel (2011) and the journal Studies in American Fiction. In addition to teaching classes in composition and literature, Thifault enjoys helping Lindsey Wilson's students prepare for careers in academe, publishing, and law.
