The Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services & Counseling is an interdisciplinary program comprised of course work in psychology, sociology, counseling, and social work in combination with broad-based general education courses. Each course is taught by faculty with advanced degrees and experience in the course content area. Practicum experiences will equip the student with the skills to enter a variety of work settings.

The Human Services and Counseling Program is part of the School of Professional Counseling at Lindsey Wilson College. The mission of the Human Services and Counseling Program is to provide Lindsey Wilson college students an academic and experiential foundation, centered in the helping professions, distinguished by academic excellence, hallmarked by an empathetic personal orientation and demonstrated respect for humanity.

The program is taught by a caring group of professionals with diverse degrees and specializations including: case management, community mental health counseling, acculturation, substance abuse, intimate partner violence, play therapy, neurofeedback, career guidance, and clinical supervision.
