Biography:
I came to LWC in 2007 after working several years in
pharmaceutical R&D and manufacturing quality control and
management. Also, while working for "corporate America" I
taught part-time at the University of Cincinnati and Somerset
Community College. Many reasons drew me to LWC, the top 3
include: 1.) the familial, close-knit setting 2.) the
determination to help every student 3.) the support
from co-workers, we work as a unit.
A few of my interests include church, family, friends, and
traveling (I have many others). I am very active in my church
(Sunday school & VBS teacher & Women's Ministries) to name
a few. I spend a lot of time with my family and
friends. I am very close to my family-they are very important
to me. I have a large family and we fellowship at every
opportunity. My friends are close to me and we enjoy spending
time together. I have traveled quite a bit and truly enjoy
the experiences. I look forward to traveling more.
My classroom is set-up for students to learn the content, as
well as, learn more about themselves. I encourage and welcome
class discussions/participation. It is my goal for each
student to gain knowledge and expand on their dreams and
goals. I particularly enjoy seeing how my students have grown
over the semester/year; this is very rewarding for me. Here
at LWC it's every student, every day.
Special studies: Parasitology, Immunology, and
Toxicology.
The effects of lead acetate on host susceptibility to
Trypanosoma cruzi.
