Biography:

I grew up in a small town in Northern California, Yuba City. I went to California State
University, Fresno, and played Women's Soccer for the Bulldogs. I transferred to Clemson
University, where I played soccer and graduated in 1999 with a B.A. in Psychology. I earned my
M.S. of Sport Psychology/Exercise Physiology at Springfield College. While working towards
my Masters degree, I was the Assistant Women's Soccer coach at Springfield College. After
Springfield College I attended the University of Nevada, where I graduated with my Ph.D. in
Counselor Education and Supervision. I am currently licensed as both Marriage and Family
Therapy and Licensed Professional Counselor Associates. I also provided Sport Psychology
consultation for all levels of athletes and teams. All of this has led me to have the opportunity
to serve as an Assistant Professor in the School of Professional Counseling at Lindsey Wilson
College. I am excited and passionate about teaching and helping my students and clients strive
towards community. When I am not cruising all over the place on my Vespa, I am traveling the
world. I have had the opportunity to live in Italy, where I fell in love with pizza, gelato, and all
things Italian. My other travels have taken me all over Europe, Central America, and Southeast
Asia. I am currently living in Kentucky.
