The mission of the Chemistry minor is to enhance the foundation of chemical knowledge of students pursuing biochemical or health-related or other chemistry-intense professions.

To successfully complete the A.A. degree, students must earn a "C" or better in all degree requirement coursework. 

Students with an A.A. degree in Chemistry may often find employment in industrial research and development, government regulatory agencies, or secondary and post-secondary education.
