Women's Studies
The Women's Studies program provides students
with a broad overview of women's history throughout the course of
the United States. The program also prepares students to think
critically about issues that affect their daily lives, both
professionally and personally.
Program Distinctions
Catherine Wilson Center
The Catherine Wilson Center provides an intellectual and social
atmosphere for women and men on Lindsey Wilson's campus, and
promotes a biblical identity of humanity that is egalitarian. The
Center promotes, raises awareness of, and supports issues that
concern women and men of all backgrounds by networking resources
and practicing equity, leadership, economic independence, health,
education and community.
The Center sponsors educational programs and community service
projects that address matters of concern to women, the
relationships between men and women and the ideal of Christian
equality. The Center builds opportunities for women's individual
and collective growth, leadership, and success on campus and in
life.

such as child and family services, education, English, history,
journalism, law, medicine, ministry, politics and social service
administration.
