About the Conference
Lindsey Wilson College invites students and faculty from all
disciplines to attend and participate in the Blue Ridge
Undergraduate Research Conference. The BRURC is designed to
encourage undergraduates to conduct research projects by providing
a high-quality, low pressure forum for presentations.
The conference begins at 1 p.m. CT on Friday,
March 26 at LWC's A.P. White Campus in Columbia, Ky.

Abstracts are due by March 10. They
should be submitted electronically to cundiffj@lindsey.edu.
Abstracts should be 150-200 words long and include the student's
name, name of the faculty adviser, and college or university.
Students can present papers or posters in
their all disciplines.

you can make a poster using PowerPoint
(1) Go to "Page Set
Up" (Under "Design" on PowerPoint 2007)
(2) Choose "Slides
Size" for Custom
(3) Choose
appropriate width and length for your poster
(4) Once the set-up
has been selected, insert text, pictures, charts, etc., as needed
to explain your project
