International Students
Lindsey Wilson College has a long history of
welcoming international students. About 40 countries are
represented annually in Lindsey Wilson's student body, which helps
create a true global village environment on campus. That makes
Lindsey Wilson a great place to learn about American culture and
also an ideal place to interact with other people from all over the
world.

Many Lindsey Wilson international students are student-athletes
who participate on one of the college's 19 intercollegiate
teams. Other international students are drawn to the college
for the opportunity to study in a rural setting and become immersed
in American culture. Lindsey Wilson has a formal exchange program
with schools in China, Japan and Northern Ireland.
Each new international student is assigned to a host family from
the Lindsey Wilson faculty and staff or from the local community.
In addition to providing international students with emotional and
psychological support, host families participate twice a year at an
international student dinner.
A vibrant International Student Club, which includes
international and American students, offers a plethora of
activities throughout the school year, including trips to area
attractions, picnics at some of the region's scenic lakes and other
social gatherings. For more information, please check out the International Student
Programs.
