Emily chooses LWC over a larger state university because of opportunities to get involved right away with campus life.  At LWC, Emily experiences the best of both worlds.  She enjoys the comfort and familiarity of feeling at home on campus, while also being exposed to a world of opportunities to realize her potential.

Emily has gained valuable work experience as a host and reporter for the Lindsey Wilson News Magazine, a monthly television show produced in partnership with DuoCounty Telecom, a local telephone cooperative.

Last summer, Emily and other members of the Lindsey Wilson Singers participated in the Rome International Choral Festival.  The students joined more than 150 other American singers to perform concerts at St. Peter's Basilica and the Basilica of Saint Maria Sopra Minerva.
