Ashley Basham, Class of 2007 

An internship with BKD, one of the 10 largest accounting firms in the United States, led to a full-time job for Ashley Basham. Before she graduated with her Lindsey Wilson degree in 2007, Ashley was hired to work in the accounting firm's Evansville, Ind., office. "Having an internship through Lindsey Wilson gave me the opportunity to prove myself and land my first job," she says.

Jude Thompson, Class of 1982

Jude Thompson '82 has been named to the board of directors of Papa John's International Inc.

"We think his experience in serving customers in the highly competitive health-care industry will bring a new perspective to the board," John Schnatter, Papa John's founder and chairman, said in a news release.

Based in Louisville, Ky., Papa John's International is one of the largest pizza-delivery companies in the United States.

Thompson has more than 20 years of experience in health insurance. He is one of the founders of Arison Insurance Services Inc. Affiliated with Assurance Investment Partners, Arison has six offices across Kentucky and sells medical, dental, life and disability insurance to groups and individuals.
