Class Notes
The Class Notes page gives alumni an
opportunity to know what is going on in the lives of other LWC
family members. To post a Class Note, send an e-mail with your
name, year of graduation, and class note information (including
pictures) to the Alumni Office. Pictures should be in JPEG format,
be at least 100 dpi and be no smaller than two inches-by-two

Recent Class Notes:
Faye Smith '42 Hopper died on Jan. 26, 2011.
She was an educator for 37 years in a one-room schoolhouse in
Russell County, Ky. She also taught in Fayette County, Ky., and St.
Louis before ending her career in the Clark County, Ky., school
system as a child guidance specialist. She served as state
president of Alpha Gamma State of Delta Kappa Gamma Society
International, an international honorary society of key women
educators.
F. Bennett Hulse, Jr. '42 died on Nov. 29,
2010. A third-generation Methodist minister, he served the
church for 65 years.
Mary L. Selby '44 died on Nov. 29, 2010.
Rev. Mark Duane Hail '53 died on
June 29, 2010.
Jimmy "Jim" Wilson '62 was appointed to
the Pulaski County, Ky., school board.
Patsy Bault '62 Villegas has worked as a
biologist and is currently in consulting work.
Donald Petersen '67 is director of lean
manufacturing with Ebonite International in Hopkinsville, Ky.
Stacy N. Hammer '92 is a city council member in
Glasgow, Ky. She was also appointed to the Barren River
Animal Welfare Association board of directors and the South Central
Kentucky Cultural Center board.
Jonathan Edward '97Adams married Jamie Lea
Etherton on Aug. 14, 2010. Jonathan is self-employed.
Brian K. Nunn '97 died on Jan. 25, 2011.
Rebecca Callahan '97 Brangers welcomes home
Nolan Robert. He has three siblings: Ashlynn, Keenan and
Madeline.
Steve Burton '97 teaches special education
at Adair County Elementary School. His wife, Sarah Harvey
'04 Burton, is a kindergarten teacher at
Colonel William Casey Elementary School in Columibia. They have
three children: Kyle, Hallie, and Kaden.
Susan Duncan '99 Wilton is assistant director
for staff and student development at the University of
Kentucky.
William O. Bradley '03 and Johnna N.
Collins '99 were married in on Jan. 7, 2010, in
Jamaica.
Josh Conner '04 is managing partner for Modern
Woodman of America. He is married to Betsy Keltner '01
Conner. They have one child, Lily.
Natalie Ciresi '04 Chaudion is employed by the
Kentucky Fairgrounds and Exposition Center in its public
relations/marketing department.
Barry Dunn '05 graduated from the
University of Louisville's Brandeis School of Law as Outstanding
University Graduate. He was president of the Moot Court
Board, Notes Editor of the University of Louisville Law
Review, two-time member of the National Moot Court team,
American Bar Association representative, Academic Support Center
Tutor and research assistant to two Distinguished University
Scholars. He won the Justice Charles Leibson Award as outstanding
constitutional law student, the Kentucky Bar Association Student
Writing Competition, Stites and Harbison Leadership Award, and was
inducted into the Brandeis Honor Society. Barry now practices
commercial litigation with Stoll Keenon Ogden in Louisville,
Ky.
Leila B. Jones '06 graduated from St.
Petersburg (Fla.) College with an online degree in veterinary
technology.
Bethany M. Fugate '08 is the counselor for
LWC's Project Success Student Support Services program.
Jordan W. Willis '08 is LWC's men's area
coordinator for residence life.
Jennifer E. Burdine '09 is LWC's enrollment
coordinator at the LWC Radcliff (Ky.) Community Campus.
Anna L. Harvey '09 is engaged to Ethan Gunnels.
They plan to be married this summer.
Dannielle Erwin '10 is the proud parent of a
baby boy, Keegan. She resides in Williamson, W.Va.
Amanda M. Hester '10 married Adam Shirley on
June 5, 2010.
Miranda L. Miller '10 joined the Kentucky
Higher Education Assistance Authority as outreach counselor
for McCreary County.
Tiffany D. Glover '10 is office
manager/administrative assistant for LWC's Project Success Student
Support Services.
Gabrielle E. Read '10 is employed by the
Elizabethtown (Ky.) Independent School system as a high school math
teacher and as a volleyball coach. She is currently pursuing a
master's degree.
Jennifer N. Bledsoe '11 St. Andrew is employed
by the Lake Cumberland Children's Advocacy in Jamestown, Ky.
Jennifer and her husband, Tim, have four children.
