Pearl M. Helm '32 died
on Dec. 9, 2009.
Opal Gaston '33 Young passed away, March 4,
2010. She taught fifth grade at Columbia Grade School and retired
to become a full time homemaker and raise her children.
Luther Collins '40 passed away, February 27,
2010. He was a pharmacist and was owner of Collins Drug Store from
1951-1986. He built and operated the Dreamland Motel in Columbia.
He was a member of Columbia Masonic Lodge #96 for 66 years and was
also a veteran of WW II. He was active in civic affairs and served
as Chairman of the Columbia-Adair County Airport Board.
Lewis Palmer Young '40 died
on Nov. 4, 2010. He attended Kentucky Christian College in
1941. He also attended Cincinnati Christian College, Milligan
(Tenn.) College and Lindsey Wilson College. He went on to
pastor several churches in Kentucky and Tennessee: Old Orchard
Church of Christ, Ashland, Ky.; First Christian Church in
Kingsport, Tenn.; South Louisville (Ky.) Christian Church; and
Gardenside Christian Church, Lexington, Ky. He served as president
of Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, Ky., for 10 years, and
also president of the North American Christian Convention in Tampa,
Fla. He also served as president of the Southern Christian
Convention and East Tennessee Christian Convention.
Ruby Whitney '42 Flowers
died on Oct. 30, 2010. She was a lab technician for the late
Dr. Oris Aaron, a noted historian of the former Adair Memorial
Hospital and a member of the Adair Chapter 435 O.E.S.
Mary Ruth Wells '46 Stone passed away February
20, 2010. She was a former school teacher and bookkeeper for a
number of Columbia businesses.
Russell K. Taylor '46 passed away,
February 6, 2010. He was a retired United Methodist minister and
served for 35 years in the Louisville Conference.
John "Smiley" Collins
'47 died on July 6, 2010. He was a
chaplain's assistant in the Air Force during World War II. He
earned degrees from Lindsey Wilson College and Union (Ky.)
College. He later received a doctorate of divinity from Emory
(Ga.) University and also was an author of a book,
Man of Devotion. He was a pastor to
several Methodist churches throughout Kentucky.
W. Arvil Allen '48 died on
Sept. 16, 2010. He was a retired United Methodist minister.
Aril was a World War II veteran. He earned a master's degree from
Emory (Ga.) University's Candler School of Theology and a
doctorate of ministry from Lexington (Ky.) Theological
Seminary. He served as pastor to many churches throughout
Kentucky, including: City Road Chapel, Munfordville, Mount Holly
and Fern Creek. After serving as pastor, he was appointed
superintendent of the Henderson District. He retired as director
for the Council on Ministries.
Edwin Rogers '48 is retired from Rogers
Aluminum and Glass Company that he started and is also a veteran of
World War II.
Nancy H. Hayes '48 died
on Aug. 24, 2010. She was a retired teacher from the Barren
County, Ky., school system.
Billie Isenberg '49 Blakeman is a retired
teacher after teaching nearly 40 years in the Metcalfe County
School System. She resides in Edmonton, KY.
Eunice Wilson '50 Thomas is retired after 34
years of teaching in the Russell County School System.
Allene Collins '50 Aaron spent 36 years
teaching in the Adair County Schools.
Robert J. "Bob" Whitmer
'50 died on Sept. 11, 2010. He
served in the Army. He was retired from Green River Steel,
having served as the general superintendent.
William H. Perkins '51
retired from teaching public school after 32 years. He
received a bachelor's degree from Kentucky Wesleyan College
and a Rank I from Western Kentucky University. He took seminary
coursework from Asbury (Ky.) College and Vanderbilt
University. He and his wife, Pat, have two children and five
grandchildren. They are active members of First United Methodist
Church in Central City, Ky.
Mary Dick '51 passed away March 11, 2010.
She taught first through third grades at Wayne County Elementary
School.
Lynn Harmon '52 is a retired pastor and resides
in Louisville, KY with his wife, Shirley Burnett '59
Harmon.
Reverend Mark Duane Hail '53
died on June 29, 2010.
Betty Holmes '53 McClendon
is a retired reading teacher from Pulaski County, Ky.,
schools.
Wallace Stewart '69 has been involved with road
construction for 35 years. He resides in Scottsburg, IN.
Tommy Ross '86 was recently named president of
South Central Bank in Bowling Green and Franklin, KY. Tommy
and his wife, Terri, have three children, Jonathan, Anne Marie, and
Laura.
Dinah Cassady '88 Smith is a fulltime
homemaker and has five grandchildren. She resides in
Campbellsville, KY.
Jerry Lucas '89 is in the marketing
department at The Brook Hospitals in Louisville, KY.
Susan Barbee '89 is a Court Designated
Worker for the 11th Judicial District, working Taylor,
Green, Marion, and Washington Counties.
Steve Pruitt '89 is a finance manager at
REGISTRAT-MAPI, Clinical Research Organization in Lexington,
KY.
Jackie Willis '89 Sapp teaches
2nd grade at Taylor County Elementary. She has two
children, Daley and Mason.
Brenda Wilburn '89 Riney has three
children and a granddaughter. Brenda worked in human
resources, recruiting and staffing for more than 10 year in the
school system. She home schools her children and she is
currently studying to receive her psychology degree and then
masters in school psychology from Western Kentucky University.
Rebecca Seebold '90 is a Kindergarten
teacher and resides in Louisville, KY.
Joan Metcalfe '90 Huffman is retired from
being a Park Superintendent of Old Fort Harrod State Park and
resides in Harrodsburg, KY.
Wanda Lee Meaux '90 is currently
completing her doctoral degree. She has taught 4th
and 5th grades at Fayette County School System.
Stacy Estes '91 Griner owns three daycare
centers, Learning Tree Child Care located in Hodgenville, KY, Horse
Cave, KY and Cave City, KY.
Sherry Rogers '91 Johnson is a manager of
Travel Professionals in Harrodsburg, KY. Sherry has two
children, Levi and Laken.
Lisa Coop '92 is employed for the
Commonwealth of Kentucky as an Auditor of Public Accounts.
Sadie K. Gambrel '92 has two children and
two grandchildren and another one due in July 2010. She works
at the Boyle County Board of Education as an administrative
secretary and is also a foster mother.
Tim Curry '92 is the Associate Athletic
Director at Union College and his wife, Susan Feltner '94
Curry is a Child Family Interventionist for Cumberland
River Comprehensive Care in Manchester, KY, where they make their
home.
Glenda Woodall '92 Brown resides in Mt.
Juliet, TN with her husband, Jeff.
Donna Spoon '92 Redmon is employed at
Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia, KY.
Tonya Feese '93 was
inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame, February 6, 2010 at
Lindsey Wilson College.
Belinda Gauthier '93 Roberts is currently
completing her BS in Business Management with a minor in Christian
Studies at Mid-Continent University in Mayfield, KY. She is
the mother of four children and resides in Wingo, KY.
Julie Gossage '93 Pyles has been teaching
at the Bell Elementary school for 17 years. She is married to
Thomas Lewis Pyles and they recently celebrated their
15th anniversary. They have one child, Hallie
Elizabeth and reside in Monticello, KY.
Robin Johnson '93 Underwood is married to
Brett Underwood. They have two children, Hunter and
Kacie. Robin began teaching at Taylor County Elementary
School in Campbellsville, KY in 1994. She received her
Masters in Education from Campbellsville University and Rank I in
Instructional Leadership from Eastern Kentucky University.
David Wadlington '94 is the Head Women's
Basketball Coach for Ohio Valley University in Vienna, WV.
His wife, Carla Miles '93 Wadlington is the
Associate Dean of Students at Ohio Valley University and makes
their home in St. Vienna, WV.

David Clemmons '95 is
employed at the Metcalfe County School System and his wife,
Tara Sewell '94 Clemmons works for a law firm in
Glasgow, KY.
Brett Pyles '95 is married to Jennifer
Pyles and has one son, Cord. They reside in Ratcliff, KY.
Connie Todd '95 Young is employed at the
Adair County Water District/
Mark Karnes '95 has two children, Kevin
and Tyler. They reside in Jamestown, KY.
Brandi Ferguson '96 Pentecost was
inducted into The Hopkins County Central Athletic Hall of
Fame. She was an assistant freshman softball coach for Lady
Storm for two years. She currently resides in Nashville, TN
with her husband, Adrian and their children, Taylor and Cayden.
Julie Garner '96 Morgan is a guidance
counselor at Southwestern High School in Somerset, KY.
Angela Chisholm '97 is a Certified
Nurse-Midwife at Bella Vie Gentle Birth Center in Oregon and at
Central City Concern Health Services (PICTURE)
April Bryant '97 Johnson is a substitute
teacher and is going back to school to get a Certificate/Master's
in Special Education.
Tomohiro Kamochi '97 is based in Kuala
Lumpur of Malaysia and is currently working on his own
business.
Stephanie Huddleston '97 is a native of
Burksville, KY. She received her Bachelors in Biology from
Lindsey Wilson College in 1997 and graduated from the University Of
Kentucky College Of Dentistry in 2001. She opened her practice,
Stephanie Huddleston, DMD PLLC, Studio for Aesthetic Dentistry, in
November 2004.
Tanya Thompson '97 Bennett is a sales
manager for the Hilton Clearwater Beach. She has one son,
Quinn and is engaged to be married in May 2011.
Steve Burton '97 is a teaches Special
Education at Adair County Elementary School and his wife,
Sarah Harvey '04 Burton is a
kindergarten teacher at Colonel William Casey Elementary
School. They have three children, Kyle, Hallie, and
Kaden.

Jonathan is self-employed.
Joey Talley '98 was inducted into the Athletic
Hall of Fame, February 6, 2010 at Lindsey Wilson College.
Chad Rakes '98 is a District Loss
Prevention Manager for Rite Aid Pharmacies. He has three
children.
Josh Messer '98 is a production
supervisor at Aramark Uniform Services. He is married to
Tanya Messer and has three children, Olivia, Kennedy and
Ryland. They reside in Lancaster, KY.
Betty Popplewell '98 Hare is employed at
Frankfort, KY in the Division of Family Support. Her and her
husband, David has three children and 10 grandchildren.
Helen Breen '98 Pack is the Site
Supervisor/School Program Director of Clinton County Adanta.
She has four children and 10 grandchildren.
Nina Sjostrand '99 is a project manager
for a Swedish Insurance Company.
Freida Mae Curry '99 works in the
accounts payable department at Novelis, Inc. in Berea, KY., the
world's largest aluminum products manufacturer and recycling
facility.
Eric Carpenter '99 is employed with
Hollister Incorporated as Ostomy/Wound Care Specialist. He is
married to Katie Carpenter and they reside in Scarbro, WV.
Susan Stamper '99 Smith is a Family
Readiness Officer for the Marine Corps. She resides in New
Bern, NC with her husband Jerod and their six children.
Benjamin Djeukeng '00 was inducted into
the Athletic Hall of Fame, February 6, 2010 at Lindsey Wilson
College.
Jeff Crawford '00 owns his own business
in oil and gas. His wife, Christy Watson '99
Crawford is a stay at home mom of two boys, Cody and
Cameron and also helps in her parent's photography studio.
Sheryl Robbins '00 Luczak is employed at
Cumberland River Comprehensive Care Center and resides in Mt.
Vernon, KY with her son, Jacob.
Adam Cruse '01 has been named the Chief
Financial Officer at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa,
KY. Adam and his wife, Janie has two children, Ally and
Clay.
Pernilla Jonsson 01 Nicklasson is married
to Mikael Nicklasson and has a daughter, Tova and resides in
Sweden.
Susan Jones '01 Lewis is employed at the
University of Kentucky for the College of Education, Literacy
Department in the Reading Recovery University Training
Center. Also, she is taking classes towards her Bachelors
degree in Business Management.
Bruce Alan Smith '01 is a third year
Doctorate student in business, working at the University of Phoenix
and was recently promoted as the Director of Student &
Financial Services.
Amanda L. Miller '01 recently gave birth
to a baby girl, Jaylee Alexis Miller.
Walter "Wally" Ian Maybrier '01 and Leah Carter
'02 Maybrier celebrated their 8th wedding
anniversary in May 2010. They reside in Somerset, KY with
their son, Ian.
Amanda Froggett '02 Norris has earned her
Mary Kay Independent Sales Director. She is married and has
three children, Addyson, Jackson and Aubree.
Amanda Joyce Walker '02 Newman is Nurse
Manager of Critical Care at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville,
KY. She has two children, Jackson and Riley.
Tanya Webster '02 Zeitz is a
bookkeeper/accountant for Aramark at Yum! Brands and resides in
Louisville, KY with her husband, Jesse '00.

Assistant.
Kyle Robertson '03 is married to Renae
Robertson and has two children. He is a Chief Financial
Officer at Bruss North America, Inc. in Russell Springs, KY.
Amanda Foster '03 Thomas is in management
at the Dollar General Store. She has two children, Robyn
Elizabeth and Penny Elaine and resides in Benton, KY.
Brian Christopher Shelton '03 is an
investment advisor at First Tennessee Brokerage and married to Lori
Summerford Shelton and resides in Cookeville, TN.

Sherry Trivett '05 has been named an
Executive Casino Host for Harrah's Cherokee Casino and Hotel in
Cherokee, NC.
John Richard Woodrum '05 is a police
officer at the Florence Police Department in Florence AL. He
is a member of the SWAT and Water Rescue Unit and also a field
training officer.
Brooke McLain Hatcher '05 has two
children, Cade and Aden. They reside in Corbin, KY.
Jill Schmidt '05 and Peter Bolken were
married, February 6, 2010. They reside in Fargo, ND.
Kris Schuhmann '05 is a
school teacher in the Jefferson County (Ky.) Public
Schools.
Chiquita Baldock '06 married Timothy Akers,
December 28, 2009. They reside in Frankfort, KY.
Brandi Tauffener '06 is the Director of
Financial Aid at the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family
Nursing in Lexington, KY.
Tawanna Huffman '06 is employed at the
Commonwealth of KY in Pike County as a child protective social
worker. She resides in Virgie, KY.

Justin A. Whitney '06 is a
fourth-year student in the University of Kentucky College of
Dentistry. He anticipates graduating in May 2011 with a
D.M.D.
Aubrey Smith '06
Harlan graduated from Southern College
of Optometry in Memphis, Tenn. She has accepted a position as an
optometrist in Versailles, Ky. She is married to James Brian
Harlan, and they have a son, James Keegan.
Sheena Nicole Wallace '06 Pelfrey
is employed at Shawnee Mental Health Center in
Ohio.
Melissa J. Shelton '06 is a
graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. She
resides in Clarksville, Tenn. She is a pharmacist with
Walgreen's.
Dustin R. Harris
'06 was LWC international student campus
event coordinator for three years. Currently, he is an employee
with UPS in Louisville, Ky., and pursing a master's degree in
social science from Campbellsville (Ky.) University.
Filipe de Souza
'06 earned a master's degree in English
from Eastern Kentucky University. He is teaching English at
Shantou University in southern China.
AnneMarie Evans '06
Webb resides in Georgetown, Ky.,
with her husband, Josh. She is employed with Central Kentucky
Orthopedics.
Kevin Davis '07 married Megan Greenwell
and they reside in Louisville, KY.
NorNa Marie Fannin '07 Sagraves has two
children and four granddaughters. She is employed as a Public
Assistance Program Specialist with the Cabinet for Health and
Family Services in Louisa, KY.
Metchie Williams '07 is a teller
supervisor at a bank in Grand Cayman.
Tammy Hawkins '07 McGowan resides in
Russell Springs, KY with her husband, Lance and their daughter,
Madelyn Olivia.
Jennifer Cannon '07 Nichols is employed
with Ultimate Treatment Center in Ashland, KY as an Addictions
Counselor in a Methadone Treatment Center. Jennifer and her
husband, Doy have two children, Aryssa and Brooklyn and reside in
Ashland, KY.
Jasmin Moore '07 resides in Fort Collins,
CO.
Norann Parker '07 resides in Lexington,
KY with her daughter, McKenzie Grace Janes.
Nathan Mayo '07 went through boot
camp at Great Lakes, Illinois and is in training to become an
Intelligence Specialist at the Navy Intell Training School in Dam
Neck, VA.
Dustin C. Beard '07
graduated from the University of Kentucky School of Law and
is serving as an associate with Golden & Walters, PLLC in
Lexington, Ky.
Jennifer Bledsoe '08 St. Andrew
is married to Tim St. Andrew. They have four children:
Timothy Jr., Christian, Lydia and Chase. She is employed at
the Lake Cumberland Children's Advocacy Center in Jamestown,
Ky.
Chase White '08 married
Brianne Jones on Sept. 25, 2010. He is a load-planning
supervisor for the Federal Aviation Administration at UPS WorldPort
in Louisville, Ky.
Christina Oaks '08 gave birth to a
baby girl, Aubree on February 16, 2010. Christina resides in
Jonesville, VA.
Emmanuel Otwori Isanda '08 is the
Volleyball, XC, Track & Field Assistant Coach at Wiley College
in Marshall, TX.
Jamison Ornella '08 is engaged to Gregory
Justin Rogers and they have one child, Jasper Cole, born, January
25, 2010. Jamison is employed for the Social Security
Administration in Frankfort, KY.
Candela Gruselda '08 Castonon is an
internal auditor for Direct TV.
Joseph "Joe" Allen Jessee '08 resides in
Radcliff, KY.
Tara Taylor '08 Henon is married to John
Henon, Jr. and they have a six month old daughter, Delaney
Ross. Tara is currently a stay at home mom and resides in
Louisville, KY.
Leigh Ann Moore '09 has been inducted
into the Storm Hall of Fame at Hopkins County Central High
School. Leigh Ann is currently a student at the Florida
Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, FL.
Anna L. Harvey '09 is engaged to Ethan
Gunnels and plans to be married this summer.
Aaron Alston Sharlow '09 and
Cherrish Star Lowe
'12 were married on June 12,
2010. He is employed at Tantus Tobacco in Russell Springs,
Ky., and she is majoring in elementary education at LWC.
Elizabeth "Beth" Boisvert '09
has joined the staff at Trinity United Methodist Church as
assistant director of youth and children's ministries. Beth
is also employed at LWC as an athletics office
associate.
Crystal D. Wright '09 and
Christopher "Adam" Cecil '09 were
married on on Dec. 4, 2010. They have a son, Cayden
Christopher Cecil, born on July 6, 2010. He weighed 7 pounds,
7 ounces.
Tina Rochelle Tarter '09
married Eric Eubank on July 2, 2010. She is employed with
Fruit of the Loom Headquarters in Bowling Green, Ky., as a
financial analyst.
Jill Collins '10 and her
husband, David, are the proud parents of Audrey, born on Aug. 12,
2010. She weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces and was 21 inches
ling.
Sara Sells '10 is Pickett
House Manager at Lindsey Wilson College.

'10 died on Sept. 16, 2010.
Justin Cason '10 is Trabue
Apartment Manager at Lindsey Wilson College and also has joint
responsibility with the international student program. In spring
2011, Justin plans to enroll in the master's program in parks,
recreation and tourism management at North Carolina State
University.
Colbie Staten '10 is Lowes
House Manager at Lindsey Wilson College. She is pursuing a
master of education degree in counseling and human development with
an emphasis on mental health counseling at LWC.

'10 married John Curtis Stockton on June 5,
2010
Dannielle Erwin '10 is the proud parent
of a baby boy named Keegan. Dannielle resides in Williamson,
WV.
Benjamin T. Martin '10 has been named
freshman advisor at Lindsey Wilson College. He previously
served at the college as assistant chaplain.
Genevieve "Gennie" Adams '10 is youth
pastor and children's facilitator at Science Hill United Methodist
Church and has begun the M.A.I.N. Christian Leadership program at
Lindsey Wilson.
