HOMECOMING REGISTRATION

1:30-4 p.m. - Registration for Homecoming 2012
Roberta D. Cranmer Dining and Conference Center
Stop by the registration table in the Roberta D. Cranmer Dining and Conference Center to pick up your welcome packet. Registering your attendance at Homecoming has never been more important.  During half time of the football game one lucky alum will win a Homecoming prize pack including various items such as an autographed football signed by Blue Raider Head Football Coach Chris Oliver, a mini Blue Raider football helmet, and two general admission season passes for the 2013 football season among others.

In addition, advance tickets to the Homecoming game can be purchased at the registration table.

Be sure to pick up your campus map and A.P. White Campus information sheet for your self-guided campus tour. 

2 p.m. - 12th Annual Morris Shepherd Ping Pong Tournament
Cralle Student Union Building
A single-elimination tournament hosted by class of '53 alumnus, Morris Shepherd!
No registration fee.  Sign up the day of the event, and the winner receives a prize.

3 p.m. - LWC National Alumni Association Fall Meeting
Clark Reading Room inside the Katie Murrell Library
This meeting is open to all LWC alumni.

5 p.m. -LWC Singers' Reunion, Rehearsal I
W.W. Slider Humanities Recital Hall
All former members of LWC choral programs are invited to celebrate the program's heritage at this special reunion. Alumni will perform at the Homecoming Alumni Awards Brunch with current Lindsey Wilson Singers.

7 p.m. - Midori Concert

Columbia Christian Church at the foot of the Hill on Campbellsville Street.

World class violinist Midori will perform at the Columbia Christian Church in a special concert event for the 2012 Lindsey Wilson College Homecoming.   Midori will be accompanied by pianist, Özgür Aydin.

Midori and Özgür Aydin's appearance is made possible in part by the  non-profit organization  Partners in Performance.    Founded  by Midori, Partners in Performance aims to keep chamber music alive and accessible in the heartland of America.  More information is available at  pipmusic.org.

9:30 p.m. - "Rally in the Valley" Bon-fire and Pep Rally
Valley on west end of Reuling Stadium
Join us for a bonfire and pep rally, complete with the LWC Marching Band, football team, cheerleaders, students and alumni. Enjoy a cup of hot cocoa donated by Café on the Square and eat a s'more while we cheer on the Blue Raiders!

 

Nov. 3

7:30 a.m. - "Running With the Blue Raiders" Annual Homecoming 5K Registration will take place in the Holloway Health and Wellness Center
Join alumni and the community in the 5th Annual "Running with the Blue Raiders" Homecoming 5K Run/Walk. Registration fee for the event is $20.  All participants registered by October 22 will receive a free "Running with the Blue Raiders" Homecoming 5K long sleeved t-shirt.

Throughout much of LWC's history, the Business/CIS Division has been the academic home of many of her students. Reconnect with classmates as well as network with alumni of the program for the first time.  Special guests for this reunion include business professors John Howery and Mohammed Pourheydarian, among others; as well as Sharon Bledsoe '61, the longest tenured faculty member in the history of Lindsey Wilson College.  Please mark this reunion group on your reservation form if you plan to attend.

You can't have football without tailgating so make sure you come by to celebrate LWC's football Homecoming in the official LWC Alumni Tailgate Tent!  Tickets to the tent area are $5 each for an all-you-can-eat lunch of hamburgers, hotdogs, potato salad, baked beans, chips, cookies, and drinks!  Tickets to the LWC Alumni Tailgate Tent can be purchased at any Homecoming registration table throughout the weekend, including the registration table at the stadium prior to and during the game.  Food will be served from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

7 p.m. - Rededication Ceremony of V.P. Henry Auditorium

During the summer of 2012, V.P. Henry Auditorium underwent the first major renovation project in more than half a century.  Join us at this special celebration of the life of Victor P. Henry, LWC's third president who served the College in that role from 1942-54, and the rededication of this historic building of Lindsey Wilson College.

Join the Lindsey Wilson College theatre program as they present our first Homecoming production.

If you like to laugh it's 'all you can eat' in Marc Camoletti's Don't Dress For Dinner.  The menu serves up duplicity, mistaken identity, pratfalls, Freudian slips, extra-marital affairs and an adult portion of hilarious confusion in this rollicking farce set in the French countryside.
