Lindsey Wilson College Alumni Awards

Each year the Lindsey Wilson College Alumni Association presents awards to alumni whose achievements and recognition have reflected honor on their alma mater. The opportunities for recognition are as follows:

    Distinguished Alumnus: Given in recognition of those who have distinguished themselves professionally, brought honor to Lindsey Wilson College, and have made significant contributions of time and/or philanthropy to their alma mater and their community.

    Outstanding Young Alumnus: Given in recognition of an outstanding graduate within the last 15 years whose achievements have been significant to Lindsey Wilson College, to the general welfare of their community, and to their profession.

    Distinguished Service Award: Given in recognition of exceptional or continuing service and devotion to Lindsey Wilson College. This award seeks to publicly recognize individuals who have volunteered significant amounts of time, talent, and resources to Lindsey Wilson College.

    Honorary Alumnus Award: Given in recognition of friends of Lindsey Wilson College who have demonstrated a close affinity to LWC, rendered exceptional support and leadership to the college, and embody the college mission.

Nomination Process:
If you feel an alumnus meets the criteria of one of the above categories and you would like to nominate them for an Alumni Award, please complete the nomination form. Please keep in mind that you will be asked to provide detailed information on said alumnus's professional experiences, affinity and involvement with Lindsey Wilson College, and awards/accolades.

Selection Process:
The Lindsey Wilson College Alumni Association solicits nominations for awards from all members of the LWC community. A committee of Alumni Board members reviews submitted nominations and provides the Alumni Council with a final ballot. The ballot is reviewed and voted on by the Alumni Council. All votes and deliberations are confidential.

Award recipients will be recognized at the Alumni Awards Ceremony during Lindsey Wilson College Homecoming on Saturday, September 28, 2024. Recipients must be present to receive award.
