Dear Student,

It is my privilege to serve Lindsey Wilson College as the eighth president. I have been a part of Lindsey Wilson since 1983.

I never fail to be enriched by the young people who grace our doors each year. As you begin to make your college selection, it is my hope that you will give Lindsey Wilson serious consideration.

For the last 25 years, Lindsey Wilson has been among the region's fastest growing colleges. Our student body has grown by more than 1,000 students.  Our faculty has expanded by more than 70% and the size of our campus has almost doubled as more than a dozen buildings have been added.

The reason for our phenominal growth is our mission. The Lindsey Wilson mission permeates our campus and is the cornerstone for all we do. For more than 100 years, Lindsey Wilson's mission has been to meet students' educational, social and spiritual needs by providing an atmosphere of active caring and Christian concern where every student, every day, learns and grows.

We believe education is not about information, it's about transformation, changing lives. Everyone at Lindsey Wilson is committed to the success of helping every student reach his or her God-given potential. We help students realize their poteintal through challenging academic programs, learning-support services and a vibrant campus life.

Lindsey Wilson is undergoing its most dramatic transformation in the College's 105-year history. The transformation includes: 73,223 square foot health-and-wellness center, an addition to the College's Sumner Campus Ministry Center and a new baseball-softball complex. The $12 millon worth of projects are the first phase of an even larger expansion plan, which includes the creation of a marching band, and the resumption of our football program in the fall of 2010.

The truth of the matter, is great colleges don't rest, they don't even pause. We hope you will consider becoming a member of one of the most exciting colleges in higher education, the best is yet to come.
