Inclement Weather Announcements

There are three accurate sources of information that provide inclement-weather announcements:  Raider Aid, local TV and radio station announcements, and this Alerts Page.

Raider Aid

Lindsey Wilson College offers a free text-messaging and e-mail service that is used to send:

• Severe weather information
• Notification of emergencies on the A.P. White Campus
• Campus closings and delays (Delayed Schedule)
  • Because of weather
  • Other emergency situations

Students are encouraged to sign up for this free service.

 How to sign up:

• Log on to RaiderNet
• Click on the Raider Aid Link (bottom right of your RaiderNet screen)
  • Save the site to your favorites
  • You can always go back to edit your information if you change your number, email, or mobile provider
• Create an account
• Create a username and password that you will remember
• Enter all necessary information and click "submit"
• Wait for a validation code to be sent to your e-mail or mobile device
  • If you do not validate your account, your Raider Aid account will be deleted
• Enter the validation code
