Intramural Sports
The mission of the Lindsey Wilson College
Intramural Program is to enhance students' fitness and wellness,
knowledge, personal and leadership skills by providing:
- opportunities for a variety of activities
that may improve wellness and fitness

- competitive and cooperative activities
- opportunities to learn and practice
leadership and planning.

Eligibility:
- All students, faculty, and staff that appear on an active
roster are eligible to participate in the LWC intramural
program
- Exception: Varsity athletes may not participate in intramural
events in which they are receiving an athletic scholarship from
Lindsey Wilson College (This includes redshirt
athletes).
Conduct:
- The LWC student code of conduct applies to the IM program
- No profanity
- No intent to harm another participant
- Any violation will result in consequences deemed necessary by
the IM director or another LWC official
Health and Liability:
LWC recommends that all participants have a physical examination
before participating in an intramural event. Participating in an
intramural event is voluntary on the part of each individual. LWC
will not assume any responsibility for injuries or medical expenses
sustained by individuals participating in the program.
Forfeits:
A forfeit will be given to any team that fails to provide the
allowable minimum number of players at game time. Failure to abide
by rules or procedures of IM program may also result in an
automatic forfeit.
Injuries:
Participating in intramural sports is voluntary on the part of
each individual. Lindsey Wilson will not assume responsibility of
bills if a participant is injured in an intramural event.
