Assistant/Associate Professor of Criminal Justice

Lindsey Wilson College, a Methodist-affiliated liberal arts college located in south-central Kentucky, is seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position in Criminal Justice beginning in August 2012. Ph.D. in criminology, criminal justice or closely related field is required.

Teaching load is four courses each semester and may include courses in the areas of policing, corrections and the juvenile offender. Experience in developing web based classes and in the use of instructional technology and innovative, engaging teaching strategies is important. Responsibilities include teaching both traditional and adult learners. Advising students and participating in committee, campus and community work of the College is also expected.

Registered Nurse with current active KY licensure
Doctoral Degree (preferred) Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) considered if significant experience with teaching and/or a clinical specialty area
Appropriate nursing licensure (KY) and credentials
Excellent interpersonal communication skills (oral and written)
Professional achievement and demonstrated competency in an established area of clinical nursing practice
Didactic and clinical teaching experience (preferred)
