COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College
community officially installed the Class of 2013 Wednesday
afternoon at Opening Convocation, held in Biggers Sports Center.
Members of the freshman class heard from LWC President William T. Luckey Jr., Vice President for Academic Affairs Bettie
Starr and keynote speaker Tori Murden McClure of Louisville,
Ky.
Toward the end of the ceremony, the freshmen officially became
Lindsey Wilson students when they took the college's "Student
Pledge."
This year's freshman class numbers more than 600 students, the
largest entering class in the college's 106-year history. Official
enrollment numbers for the 2009-10 school year will be known in a
couple of weeks.
