Second EDGE Weekend Held for Incoming Freshmen

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The second half of Lindsey Wilson College's Class of 2015 prepared for the start of the upcoming school year over the weekend at the college's second round of EDGE days.

EDGE -- which stands for education, development, growth and experience -- is a daylong orientation program for incoming LWC freshmen. The day introduces freshmen to the LWC community and gives them several opportunities to meet the college's faculty, staff and students.

A total of 200 students attended the two EDGE days held on Friday and Saturday, 94 on Friday and 106 on Saturday.

LWC students will move into the college's residence halls beginning Aug. 13, and the 2011 fall semester will begin on Aug. 17.
