COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Some of the fans turned Walter
S. Reuling Stadium into a giant living room at Wednesday night's
women's soccer match between Lindsey Wilson College and Indiana
Wesleyan University.
Several dozen Lindsey Wilson students hauled couches out to the
stadium for the college's first "Couch Night" of the season.
Sponsored by the LWC Student Government Association, the popular
event included a free pizza sent to each couch.
And the soccer wasn't bad, either. The third-ranked Blue Raiders
ended a two-game losing streak with a 1-0 win over No. 16-ranked
Indiana Wesleyan. Blue Raider senior goalkeeper Carrie Revlett made history as she set the
program's career shutout record by notching her 21st career
shutout.
