Keltricity to Perform 'Clectic World Music' Friday Night

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The eclectic Celtic
sounds of Keltricity will emanate Friday night from the A.P. White
Campus of Lindsey Wilson College.
Keltricity, a musical quintet from Louisville, Ky., will
perform "Wild and Wonderful Celtic & World Music" at 7 p.m. CT
Friday, Oct. 5, at the Lindsey Wilson W.W. Slider Humanities Center
Recital Hall. The concert is free and open to the
public.
Keltricity is a five-member ensemble that bills
itself as a "Celtic world band." The group features
traditional, contemporary and Celtic-influenced music from Ireland,
Cape Breton, Scotland, England, Brittany, New England and French
Canada.
The five-member group is comprised of accomplished musicians
with backgrounds in various musical genres that include traditional
Irish bands, Scottish and New England contra dance bands,
classical, rock and jazz. The variety of these experiences converge
to provide an innovative and unique music around.
Keltricity will perform "Wild and Wonderful Celtic &
World Music" at 7 p.m. CT Friday, Oct. 5, in the Lindsey Wilson
College W.W. Slider Humanities Center Recital Hall. For more
