Scottsville Campus Raises Funds to Support Center for Courageous Kids
Members of the LWC-Scottsville Campus community raised more than $700 to support a child's visit to the Center for Courageous Kids, a nearby world-class medical camp.

Methodist Women Discuss Marginalization of Native Americans, Crisis in Sudan
For four days, more than 100 Kentucky United Methodists explored the marginalization of Native Americans and the crisis in the Sudan. The topics were discussed at the annual School of Christian Mission for the Women’s Division of The United Methodist Church, held July 16-19.

First & Farmers National Bank of Columbia gave $10,000 for the Lindsey Wilson Fund to enable LWC to provide additional scholarship aid to students from Columbia-Adair County.

Jessica McGowan, a 2009 Russell County High School graduate, received the Russell County-Lindsey Wilson College Partnership Scholarship. The special scholarship was created by LWC to celebrate its historic relationship with Russell County.

LWC Hosts School for budding Methodist ministers
Almost four dozen future leaders of The United Methodist Church spent the week of May 18-25 on the A.P. White Campus. This year's class is the largest in the school's history with 44 students from several districts of the Kentucky Conference attending the school.
