JAMESTOWN, Ky. -- A college education will be
more affordable for a Russell County resident, thanks to a local
bank.
Kelsey L. Sullivan of Russell Springs, Ky., has received the Bank of
Jamestown Scholarship at Lindsey Wilson College. The
scholarship provides tuition aid to a financially deserving student
from Russell County.
A graduate of Russell County High School, Sullivan is the
daughter of Margaret and Michael Sullivan.
Sullivan plans to prepare for a career as a veterinarian at
Lindsey Wilson.
"We are pleased the Bank of Jamestown recognizes the importance
of supporting the dreams and aspirations of local residents such as
Kelsey," said Brady Button, director of the Lindsey Wilson
Fund. "An investment in young people is an investment in our
region's future, and Lindsey Wilson is pleased to be a partner with
the Bank of Jamestown."
