Freshman Creates Publicity for Adair County Library

  COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Work by a Lindsey Wilson College was recently used to help promote a diversity event at Adair County Public Library.


LWC freshman Timbre Slusher of Wallins, Ky., designed a flyer to promote the library's Hispanic Heritage Day program, held earlier this spring.


Slusher was a student in LWC assistant professor Debbie Hall's Debbie Hall's "Reading 1023" spring class, which collaborated with Adair County Public Library Children's Librarian Aleina Milligan to help publicize the event. Students created a PowerPoint presentation and also created several possible flyers.
