Lindsey Wilson College is accredited to
award associate, baccalaureate and masters degrees by
the Southern Association of Schools and College Commission on
Colleges (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia, 30033-4097;
Telephone number 404-679-4501).
Compliance with the
Core Requirements, Comprehensive Standards and Federal Requirements
that are specified in the Principles of Accreditation requires that
all faculty and program coordinators review and adhere to the
following procedures:

Procedure for Reporting Proposed Changes in Programs or
Policies: To insure that any change which is a
substantive change (e.g., new programs, new locations, new modes of
delivery of instruction) are reported to SACSCOC prior
to implementation, the Policy on Change must be followed and change
must be reported on theProgram and Policy Change Approval Form.
- Justification of Faculty Credentials: Faculty
credentials must be aligned with the specific courses which they
are teaching. The Form for Justification of Teaching
Assignments should be used for this purpose.
- Assessment of Essential Student Learning Outcomes and program
student learning outcomes must be completed during each assessment
cycle. Evidence and analysis should be reported in the

Accreditation
Lindsey Wilson College describes
itself in identical terms to all recognized accrediting bodies with
regard to purpose, governance, programs, degrees, diplomas,
certificates, personnel, finances and constituencies and must keep
each institutional accrediting body apprised of any change in its
status with one or another accrediting body. The College will
notify the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission
on Colleges of any change in its accreditation status by other
recognized accrediting bodies
