Assistant Director of Campus Recreation
Originally from Mount Juliet, Tennessee, Ricky Steakin obtained a
Bachelors degree in Recreation & Physical Education from
Lindsey Wilson College. Upon graduation, he became a student
assistant baseball coach for Lindsey Wilson College. He also played
four years of college baseball; he played in the 2002 Division 1
Junior College World Series for Wallace State Community College in
Hanceville, Alabama. He also won a National Championship in 2004
while play for the Cumberland University Bulldogs in Lebanon,
Tennessee.
Ricky
joined the Lindsey Wilson Staff in the summer of 2008. His
responsibilities include creating extra-curricular activities for
all students, Faculty & Staff. Ricky also oversees all
Intramural sport activities. He enjoys coaching
baseball, playing all kinds of different sports, spending time with
his family, and living one day at a time.
