I first joined the Lindsey Wilson family in the fall of 2005,
when I began studying for my Bachelor's degree. I earned my
Bachelor of Arts degree from Lindsey Wilson in May of 2009. I
immediately began studying for my Master's degree through the
School of Professional Counseling in the fall of 2009. I expect to
graduate in May 2011 with my Master of Education degree in
Counseling and Human Development.
As a graduate student, I served as a graduate assistant in the
Counseling Center at Columbia, where I have gained invaluable
experience working as a counselor intern in the mental health
field.
When offered the position as Enrollment Coordinator for the
Radcliff and Elizabethtown campuses, I knew I would have the
opportunity to serve the potential students of those communities in
the same capacity that I have been served on the main campus in
Columbia. I was drawn to Lindsey Wilson because of the friendly
faces and the one-on-one support I received from all faculty and
staff that I came into contact with. It's definitely a special
place!
It is my hope that because I have personally experienced Lindsey
Wilson's mission of "Every Student, Every Day" I can bring that
same attitude to the Radcliff and Elizabethtown area where students
feel valued as people and get excited about a wonderful opportunity
to further their education in an environment where they feel
welcome.
