After graduating from Eastern Kentucky University in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in social work, Kesha worked in a variety of fields for the next seven years: case manager, advocate and youth counselor.

LWC allowed Kesha to achieve new goals by obtaining a Master of Education  in Counseling and Human Development degree at LWC-Somerset Community Campus.  The program allowed Kesha  to continue to work a 40-hour week while providing the professional training and education that would enable her to begin and grow in the counseling field.

After graduation, Kesha began work for LWC Lindsey Wilson College as an enrollment coordinator and instructor.  Kesha considers it a great blessing to be able to go to work each day as a part of LWC and its mission to serve "every student, every day."
