State
Kentucky State Grants: These
grants, funded by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, are awarded
according to need to Kentucky residents attending Kentucky colleges
and is subject to availability of funds. The grants are available
as a Kentucky Tuition Grant (KTG) or College Access Program
(CAP).
Kentucky Educational Excellence
Scholarship (KEES): This program is administered by the
Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA) which offers
Kentucky high school students an opportunity to earn college
scholarships. This scholarship is based upon ACT scores and high
school grade point averages. Students who have met the academic
requirements for KEES will have their accounts automatically
credited according to the amount they have earned. Students do not
have to apply for a KEES award; it is sent automatically to the
College once the college notifies KHEAA the student is
enrolled.
