Adjunct Clinical Faculty Position

The Division of Nursing at Lindsey Wilson College invites applications for adjunct clinical faculty/teaching positions in its growing and successful baccalaureate nursing program. 

We seek faculty who share the vision of Lindsey Wilson College to serve the educational needs of students by providing a living-learning environment within an atmosphere of active caring and Christian concern.

Nursing faculty at Lindsey Wilson embrace the institutional goals of striving for the highest degree of education through a nursing program based on evidence and sound professional practice.  We seek to create the best possible environment for the individual growth of students through the intentional and cooperative efforts of the entire College community.  Our students are prepared for life and a nursing career in a rapidly changing world.  Value-centered learning experiences, provided by our excellent nursing faculty, assist nursing students in developing intellect, character and self esteem. 

The Lindsey Wilson College nursing program, launched in the Fall 2010, is housed in the new Dr. Robert & Carol Goodin School of Professional Counseling and Nursing Center.  Innovatively designed and developed simulation learning centers, unprecedented in the area, augment student acquisitions of skills and nursing content.

 Current clinical faculty opportunities include:

  • Adult Health
  • Child and Family Health
  • Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Mental Health
  • Population and Community Based care

Qualifications

  • Registered Nursing with current active KY licensure
  • Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) (preferred); Bachelor of Science (BSN) candidates considered if significant experience with teaching and/or a clinical specialty area
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (oral and written)
  • Professional achievement and demonstrated competency in an established are of clinical nursing practice
  • Clinical teaching experience preferred
