Lindsey Wilson College is accepting applicants for adjunct faculty to teach a course in Art Education P-5. The course is scheduled for Thursday evenings during the Fall 2013 term. This course develops an increased understanding of visual art and applications for teaching art in elementary school classes. Emphasis will be on experimentation with art media, and development of skills for teaching and assessing creative problem-solving activities that are developmentally appropriate in appreciation, production, and integrated art lessons. Applicants must have a Master's degree in art education or MA in art and experience teaching art in public schools.
