Mission Statement
The mission of the undergraduate organizational leadership certificate program is to prepare students to be confident, adaptable, and responsible leaders who can inspire positive change in their communities and future professional endeavors. This is accomplished by teaching the skills, knowledge, and ethical foundations needed to lead in diverse and dynamic environments. Through a combination of academic coursework, experiential learning, and personal development, the certificate program fosters critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and collaborative leadership.
Certificate Requirements: 12 hours
Along with the general education program and a major, students must complete the certificate’s core requirements. Students should note that the certificate contributes six hours toward the required 39 hours of 3000-4000 level coursework.
