All In For LWU - 2016 Chair's Challenge

Campaign Update: 4 p.m. CT, November 5, 2016

Lindsey Wilson University Board of Trustees Chair Allan Parnell of Louisville, Ky., presented a facsimile check of $416,765.59 to LWU President William T. Luckey Jr., at Blue Raider Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 5, at the end of the first quarter of the Blue Raiders vs. Bethel (Tenn.) University football game.

Parnell pledged that if the College got 1,000 donors to give Nov. 1-2 to LWU scholarships, he would add $100,000 to scholarship aid. The campaign was so successful by the end of Nov. 1, President William T. Luckey Jr. urged the LWU community to continue giving and reach 1,903 donors to symbolize the college's founding year, 1903. The two-day campaign, dubbed "All In For LWU," attracted 1,934 gifts totaling $416,765.59 with 494 unique gifts contributed by the student body.

Lindsey Wilson University alumni, students, employees, parents and friends went above and beyond the call of duty when they were challenged to help LWU students. We are overwhelmed by your generosity. Campaign totals are not yet complete. We will update the LWU community as soon as we have the final numbers.

We met our goal but let's keep going!

More than 1,400 donors have contributed to The Chairs Challenge. So many of you stepped up to show your love for LWU students and we are grateful. Let's push forward and make President Luckey's new goal of 1,903 donors to symbolize LWU's founding year, 1903.

Campaign Update: 6 a.m. CT, November 1, 2016

LWU Board of Trustees Chair Allan Parnell challenges LWU alumni, students, parents, friends and employees to show their love for LWU students and go ALL IN FOR LWU!

If 1,000 LWU donors make gifts during the 48-hour period of November 1 & 2, Allan Parnell will donate $100,000 to LWU for student scholarship aid.

If you have already made a gift this year, a gift on November 1 & 2 will help meet the $100,000 challenge. If you haven't made your gift yet, there is no better time!

How you can help LWU students:

  • Make a gift online at www.lindsey.edu/giving on Nov. 1-2.
  • Call the LWU Alumni office from 7 AM - 9 PM CDT on Nov. 1-2 at 270-384-8400 - or answer the call when one of our students calls you!
  • Mail in your gift to LWU by Oct. 31 to:
