LWC Art Club

The Art Club is open to all students, includes periodic trips to regional galleries and museums. Past events have also included studio workshops, attendance at national art conventions, and a tour of the Tuscany region in Italy for art faculty and students. Trips to view collections have ranged from the J.B. Speed museum in Louisville, Ky.; The Frist Art Musuem, Cheekwood, and the Parthenon in Nashville, Tenn.; the Hunter Museum in Chattanooga, Tenn.; The Chicago Art Institute; the Hite Museum in Atlanta; and visits to Lexington, Ky., Memphis, Tenn., Cincinnati, and Washington D.C.

Lucretia C. Begley Gallery Art Majors Exhibit

Students majoring in art with studio emphasis enjoy the opportunity to exhibit their art work in the Lucretia C. Begley Gallery as a component of the capstone course, Art Majors Seminar.
