  Continuation of Music Theory I. More intensive study of seventh chords, modulation, two-part and three-part form, utilizing both analysis and writing of music compositions. Includes continual development of sight-singing, ear-training, and keyboard harmony skills within a lab setting. Three hours lecture, two huors lab per week. Four hours a week.   Rehearsal and performance of jazz, Latin, and pop instrumental, music for big band (piano, bass, drums, saxophones, trumpets, trombones, and guitar) Rehearsals include study of playing with good time, intonation, jazz inflections, articulations, and correct interpretation of classic jazz literature to modern styles. Performaces include two major concerts in the Spring semester. (One on-campus and one off-campus). This course may be repeated for credit.
