COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Almost 100 aspiring entrepreneurs packed the Lindsey Wilson College Norma and Glen Hodge Center for Discipleship Thursday afternoon for the Third-Annual Entrepreneurial and Career Expo.

Sponsored by the LWC Center for Entrepreneurship, the event invited LWC students from all disciplines to propose a business concept, which was evaluated by three judges for three top cash prizes that totaled $1,800.

Guests were also to vote for a "fan favorite" proposal via Twitter using the hashtag #lwcexpo.

At total of 34 exhibits by 93 students were entered into the competition.

The expo's major of focus was communication, so it featured a keynote talk by Kate Matthews, who is compliance coordinator in athletics services at the University of Louisville.
