Benson considers serving Lindsey Wilson College students as the
Director of Freshman Year Experience an honor. He is a native
of Albany, Ky., and a graduate of Clinton County High School. In
fall 2000, he entered Lindsey Wilson as a freshman, where he
began to develop a passion for the institution.
In May 2004, Benson received a bachelor of arts degree in
communication and Christian ministries from LWC, and then in May
2007 he received and a master of arts in communication from Western
Kentucky University.
Working at Lindsey Wilson allows Benson to work
within a family atmosphere that encompasses the campus'
everyday life. Each year, he looks forward to working with each and
every student and to make sure that his or her college experience
is unforgettable. Benson's goal is to encourage, help and
direct each student in their academic endeavors and social
involvement.
Serving as director of FYE is Benson's way of giving back
to the college for what it has given him.
