Christian Ministries - Program Distinctions

The Chaplain's Office offers many spiritual-growth opportunities and services to students:

  • Chapel services are held each Wednesday at 10:45am CT during the school year. They are held in the John B. Begley Chapel. They typically involve clergy from within the surrounding area as the guest speakers and Lindsey Wilson Students who lead worship, pray, read scripture, and other various aspects of the worship time. Chapel services are live streamed on Facebook at LWC Ministries and on Instagram at lwc_ministires. A podcast of all Chapel services is emailed to all students, faculty, and staff and is available to anyone who wishes to receive it.   • The Christian Ministries major and minor prepare students for a variety of ministry positions. Christian Ministries students participate in an annual retreat and several other community-building activities.

  • Spiritual counseling is also available to students.

  • The Mosaic Campus Ministries of Lindsey Wilson is an important aspect of campus ministry. The campus is home to corporate candlelight prayer services, prayer walks, prayer teams and events such as "See You at the Pole" and the "National Day of Prayer."
