Campus-Wide Leadership

  • L3 - L3 stands for LIVE, LEARN, and LEAD and has become the symbol for student leadership at Lindsey Wilson College. The Center for Civic Engagement and Student Leadership recognizes individuals who articulate clear ideas about life, motivate others around them, and take action to create change. The call for nominations occurs each spring.
  • Lindsey Leaders - Faculty and staff may submit a student spotlight to encourage and promote small acts of leadership they observe in and out of the classroom. Spotlights will take place on Instagram @LWCCivicCenter
  • Intro to Leadership Studies - This course examines leadership theory in relationship to student leadership roles. It features critical thinking and reflective activities designed to engage students in practices for exemplary leaders. Students will learn how to transform their leadership style, skills, and values into action by participating in group discussions, recreational activities, directed readings, and class presentations. This course is available every fall.
  • Leadership Symposium - This annual symposium is offered each spring centered around a different theme. Mark your calendars to hear from various speakers on leadership.
  • Schedule a Leadership Professional Development Workshop - Invite the Center Director to your classroom to lead an activity or informational session on student leadership. civicengagement@lindsey.edu
