Student Government Association


The Lindsey Wilson College Student Government Association (SGA) is responsible for coordinating student clubs and organizations for the purpose of student development and student leadership. It is active in assisting with the planning, promotion, and coordination of student activities and community service projects. SGA exists to provide leadership opportunities through student governance and to serve as a voice for student concerns and needs.

Welcome to the newly updated homepage for the Lindsey Wilson Student Government Association! We have updated our website to better serve you and the needs of Lindsey Wilson College Students. Not only will you find invaluable information about our organization and other clubs on campus, but you will also find information about the elected leaders of the organization. These officers are elected to serve the students and to voice concerns, you may have. I encourage you to reach out to your respective representative. Our website is also now interactive. You are able to download the paperwork to create a club on campus or submit a student concern with the click of a button. Lindsey Wilson College is a special place that serves the educational and spiritual needs of every student, every day. The Student Government Association is proud to enhance the lives of LWC Blue Raiders by providing fun events throughout the year as well as working with the administration to bring about needed change. 2018-2019 Executive Cabinet

President Jakob Beckley - Jakob is a Senior Business Administration major from Pleasureville, Kentucky. He is a Bonner Scholar and the Public Address Announcer for the LWC men's and women's basketball teams. He is currently serving his second term as President. Before being elected as Student Body President he served as the 16-17 Freshman Class President and the 17-18 Chief of Staff.

Vice President Payton Veraldi - Payton is an education major from Dalton, Georgia. He is a member of the Lindsey Wilson College Football Team and representative for the Mid South conference to the NAIA. Before being elected as student body Vice President he served as the 18-19 Chief of Staff.

Chief of Staff Don Trowell - Don is a Sophomore Business Administration major from Louisville, Kentucky. He is a member of the Student Activities Board. Before being appointed as the student body treasurer he served as the 18-19 Freshman Class President.

Treasurer Kaylie Butler - Kaylie is a Junior Communication and History major from Munfordville, Kentucky. She is a member of the R.V. Bennett Honors Program and works for the LWC Writing Center. Before being appointed Treasurer she served as the 17-18 Freshman Class President and the 18-19 Sophomore Class President.

How to start a club

New Club forms - Download and print

To be recognized as an official club/organization, the following must be submitted for record to the SGA Executive Cabinet: A. Signatures of at least ten (10) persons interested in and committed to the purpose of the proposed club/organization, B. Signature of proposed advisor(s), C. Constitution unique to the petitioning club/organization which states an article of purpose.

Once you have created a constitution and have a filled out the club information sheet please email it to or bring it by the SGA Office in the Student Union Building. Your petition will then be placed on the agenda for the next Senate meeting, where it will be voted on.

Funds Request Form

    Please print off a copy of the fund's request and fill out all information completely and correctly. You may then bring the completed form by the SGA office or you may send an electronic copy to The appropriations committee will then decide on an appropriate amount of money to grant to the respective club/organization based on the request. If approved it will then be voted on by the Senate at the next meeting following the appropriations committee approval. Due to this lengthy process, it is recommended to submit a funds request 3 weeks before you actually need the money.
