Dr. Robert Reynolds Piano Recital Set For October 21

Dr. Robert Reynolds performs a recital at LWC in 1967.

Dr. Robert Reynolds, professor of music at Lindsey Wilson College, will be performing in concert at Lindsey Wilson College on Sunday, October 21, at 2:00 PM CT in the W.W. Slider Humanities Center. Composers highlighted on the forthcoming program are Wolfgang Mozart, Franz Schubert, and César Franck.

 

The October 21 program marks the fifty-first year of Reynolds’ various musical appearances at Lindsey Wilson College. Reynolds, a native of Taylor County, Kentucky, is well known around the area as a soloist, chamber musician, and has appeared with several orchestras as soloist in twenty-five concerto movements. He pursued his formal musical education from Campbellsville University, North Texas State University, Florida State University, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and the University of Kentucky (where he received the Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano).
