International Student Programs Hosts Events for International Education Month
Columbia, KY -- November is International Education Month (IEM) at LWC. International Education Week (IEW), which was initiated by the Department of State and the Department of Education, runs in conjunction with International Education Month, a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.
The program began in 2000, and is now celebrated in more than 100 countries worldwide. LWC's International Student Programs is hosting several events to celebration the month and the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. All events are free and open to the public.
