Psi Chi, International Honor Society, Established at LWC

The Lindsey Wilson College community welcomed a new academic honor society to campus on Tuesday evening. Psi Chi is the international psychology honor society dedicated to encouraging academic excellence, exploration and advancing the science of psychology.

The LWC Psi Chi chapter of the honor society is open to students who have declared their major, minor or equivalent in psychology and have excelled in their studies more broadly.

According to chapter advisor, Assistant Professor of Psychology Jordan Greenburg, membership in the organization is lifelong and students can benefit from its opportunities even after graduation.

“This first class of students represents an elite level in our program,” said Greenburg. “We are excited they are joining this organization. Even after graduation, our students will remain among the ranks of Psi Chi members and the opportunities this organization affords.”
