Janet Knauff Biography

Meet Janet Knauff

Janet’s journey began with an Associate degree from Southern State Community College, OH. She went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Wilmington College. She spent nineteen years as a clinic director for two different agencies. She attained fifteen of those years at Highland County where she served on the local college advisory boards. Later, Janet obtained her Master’s Degree from University of Colorado.

Completion of her Master’s Degree permitted Janet to teach for her local college, which presented her with the opportunity to apply for the enrollment coordinator’s position with Lindsey Wilson College. The coordinator position allowed her the ability to advocate and link students to appropriate resources and assist them with an educational plan.

Janet has ardently been employed the past nine years at Lindsey Wilson College. She feels blessed to have worked with colleagues that provide a positive work environment and that continuously withhold amazing and optimistic values and virtues. She has been able to express the same virtues and values throughout her career that she holds personally. She is passionate about education and was provided the opportunity through Lindsey Wilson to spread the same philosophy with others.

Janet’s personal experience has demonstrated how an encouraging environment, with supportive people can lead to a great education and the opportunity to be anything you want to be. She has proved how having an education can be life changing.
